A diffusor plate is arranged on the upper and lower surfaces of a light-guide plate which guides light from a light source. A pair of prism plates are formed on each diffuser plate to polarize light output from the diffuser plate. Inner and outer LCDs are provided on the prism plates to display or reproduce a predetermined image using polarized light.
