<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sell a given article to only a user having a purchase qualification and to manage information on the sold article by a management host by associating the information on the sold article with the purchase qualification. <P>SOLUTION: A vending machine comprises: a purchase qualification acquisition means 11 acquiring information on the purchase qualification from the user; a purchase qualification examination means 12 examining whether the purchase qualification of the user is effective or not in purchasing the article (a contact lens) by the user; an article transfer means 13 transferring the article to an article takeoff port only when the purchase qualification of the user is valid; an article information acquisition means 14 acquiring article information F2 on the article transferred to the article takeoff port from an article information recording medium M attached to the article; and an article information transmission means 15 for sending the article information F2 acquired by the article information acquisition means, through a network, to the predetermined management host while associated with the purchase qualification F1 of the user which has purchased the article. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
