MEDICAL INFORMATION ACCESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ACCESS AUTHORITY MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR THE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security in the handling of patient medical information owned by a medical agency.

SOLUTION: The medical information access management system is composed of: first storage means (DB31 to 34) in which the personal medical information of a patient is stored; card reading means (IC card R/W21) for reading the personal authentication information from a personal authentication card owned by every patient and medical facility worker; and an access managing means (access qualification authentication server 10) for managing access to the personal medical information of the patients stored in the first storage means by referring to access authority information (access qualification management DB11) registered for every facility institute worker based on every read personal authentication information.
