<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an image rotation processing circuit that can simultaneously write 2-pixel data to a memory, can simultaneously read the 2-pixel data, and can speedily process rectangular image data. <P>SOLUTION: Each storage position of four upper/lower and left/right pixels, that are adjacent one another in a memory 1, are divided into mutually different blocks, the rectangular image data are written to mutually different blocks of the memory 1 in units of two pixels by a write control circuit 2; the rectangular image data written into the memory 1 by a read control circuit 3 are read from upper/lower and left/right mutually different blocks that are adjacent one another in units of four pixels; and an angle specified by the read four-pixel data or two-pixel data, corresponding to the mirror image are selected and outputted by a data selector 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
