PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase operating efficiency when it is desired to do action in relation to search keywords or search results received.

SOLUTION: An information processing system includes a word category processing part; a first hypertext document creating part; a first correspondence managing part; a second correspondence managing part that manages the correspondence between one or a plurality of action categories and a location where an applied function part exists; and a selection accepting part. When a user designates a word on a first hypertext document, the first correspondence managing part is used to search for the action category that corresponds to a word category to which the word belongs; when the user selects an action using a dialog component on a second hypertext document provided by the selection accepting part, the location of the applied function part corresponding to the action category to which the action belongs is searched for using the second correspondence managing part so as to start the corresponding applied function part.
