<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can enlarge the dynamic range. <P>SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a light source; a gain image processing module for generating a gain value by receiving an image signal A and a gain image signal A' based on the gain value and image signal A; an adjustment module electrically connected with the light source and the gain image processing module, respectively and generating a control signal for controlling so that the luminance of beam that the light source emits can become 1/(gain value) of the luminance of original beam; and an image display unit electrically connected with the gain image processing module, receiving the gain image signal A' and forming images by the light source after the adjustment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
