PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an overshoot by improving responsiveness when controlling a gear ratio of a belt type continuously variable transmission under pressure. SOLUTION: This control device of the belt type continuously variable transmission has a driving pulley and a driven pulley capable of changing width of a groove wound with a belt by hydraulic pressure, and controls the gear ratio by the hydraulic pressure supplied to one pulley, and controls the hydraulic pressure supplied to the one pulley by feedforward control and feedback control in shifting. The control device has a feedback control means (Step S009) for performing control for determining the hydraulic pressure for converging a deviation on the basis of the deviation between a target rotating speed and an actual rotating speed of the driving pulley as the feedback control in the shifting.
