PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering polyvinyl chloride, by which the polyvinyl chloride reduced in an impurity content can be separated and recovered from a polyvinyl chloride recovery product. SOLUTION: This method for recovering the polyvinyl chloride is characterized by heating an alkaline aqueous suspension containing a polyvinyl chloride recovery product at 100 to 160°C to recover the polyvinyl chloride.
