PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single plate color solid-state image pickup device of a photoconductive film lamination type, which is superior in color resolution and has sufficient sensitivity. SOLUTION: A light receiving part 3 has a red photoconductive film 5r, a green photoconductive film 5g and a blue photoconductive film 5b, which are sequentially laminated from a substrate 1-side. The photoconductive films 5r, 5g and 5b are sandwiched between transparent electrodes 7. Not the transparent electrode but a non-transparent electrode 11 is arranged below the photoconductive film 5r being a lowermost layer. A color filter (yellow filter) absorbing light Hb of a blue wavelength region and transmitting light beams Hg and Hr of green and red wavelength regions is arranged between the two transparent electrodes 7 between the photoconductive films 5b and 5g. A red filter 9 absorbing light beams Hb and Hg of the blue and green wavelength regions and transmitting light Hr of the red wavelength region is disposed between the transparent electrodes 7 installed between the photoconductive films 5g and 5r.
