PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox flow battery cell reducing the numbers of components and machinings, as a sealing means of an electrode chamber and also reducing the area of a separating membrane. SOLUTION: The redox flow battery cell is comprised of: a separating membrane 1; first and second bipolar plates2a, 2b between which the separating membrane is interposed; first and second electrodes 4a, 4b arranged between the separating membrane 1 and the bipolar plates; first and second frames 3a, 3b fixing the outer circumferential parts of the first and second bipolar plates; and liquid distribution ports installed in the frames. First and second electrode chambers in which the electrodes are housed are formed by piling up the first and second frames surrounded by the separating membrane, the bipolar plate, and the frame, and by communicating the electrode chamber with the liquid distributing port.
