PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a connector easily and surely fitted into and connected with another connector at a panel side with a good waterproof property. SOLUTION: One connector 2 arranged at a hole part 8 of the panel 7 and another connector at a box body side are provided. A cover 5 is mounted on the one connector through an adapter 4 with tapered parts 30, 35 where the adapter and the cover are in contact with each other, a circular sealing member 10 to be fitted into a wire harness 12 from outside is provided between the adapter and the cover, and the cover and the box body are combined with combining means 21, 22 in the assembly structure of the panel penetration connector 1. A second circular sealing member 11 is provided between a flange part 37 of the cover 5 and the panel 7. The combining means are either a male screw 22 and a female screw 21, or a locking part 42 and an engagement part 43. The cover can be of a divided type. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
