PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arithmetic controller for performing calculation by easily setting a calculation mode and variables. SOLUTION: A compound interest calculation mode is started in a financial computer (Fig. (a)). Then, variables are inputted (Fig. (b)), and registered in a short cut key (Fig. (c)). Then, when the shotcut key is depressed, the values of the registered variables are read. Then, the values of the variables are additionally inputted (Fig. (d)), and variables FV to be calculated are selected by a line cursor M306 (Fig. (e)). Then, a calculation validation mark T300 showing that the values of the variables FV can be calculated is displayed.
