PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool which prevents tea set from any damage caused by a metal probe to save labor of holding a pen type digital temperature indicator by hand when using the temperature indicator to measure temperature of hot water in a tea cup or a tea pot. SOLUTION: This pen type digital temperature indicator support tool 1 is formed as a cross-shaped solid structure wherein a slender plate bridges the upper edge of the teacup 8 or the teapot 11, etc., and a hole 4 is provided on the center of the plate thickness directional face into which the probe 7 is inserted and then the probe is pressurized by a ball and a spring of a ball plunger 2. With the spring pressurization, the probe 7 can freely slide and adjust depth to insert the probe tip into hot water for measuring temperature. Therefore the temperature indicator needs not to be handheld to eliminate possibility of damages on tea set. Additionally a long hole 5 is provided on the center of the plate length directional face to allow the probe to be inserted into it, then the structure of the support will also serve as a probe protective housing cap.
