PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link device flexibly following complicated movement of an object by compactly and simply forming the whole. SOLUTION: This link device has a link mechanism 2 formed as the figure by mutually rotatably connecting link members 3 to 6, and a driving unit 30 for expanding and contracting the link mechanism by transmitting expanding-contracting motion of a driven expanding-contracting mechanism 32 to the link mechanism. A connection point for forming two sets of pairs is arranged in four places in the link mechanism, and two points arranged in its one opposed position are set as support points 7 and 8 respectively rotatably supported by the object, and two points arranged in the other opposed position are set as transmission points 9 and 10 for transmitting force of the driving unit to the link mechanism by connecting an end part in the shaft direction of the driving unit. The expanding-contracting mechanism and a transmission means 39 for transmitting force of a driving source are integrally constituted, and an appearance of the driving unit is formed slender in the direction for making expanding-contracting motion of the expanding-contracting mechanism, and the driving unit is stored inside in a side view of the link mechanism.
