PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a destacking device capable of securely performing destacking of stacked trays. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a lifter 44 provided below the stacked trays 25, a movable member 46 provided in an outer peripheral part of the lifter so as to move in the vertical direction, a holding member 47 for holding the movable member rising up to an upper limit position together with the lifter elastically, and a claw member 29 having an engaging part 29a engageable with an abutting part 29b abutting on the movable member and an undersurface of the tray, turning the engaging part to a non-engaging position where it leaves the tray by the movable member when the lifter rises up to a rising limit, releasing a holding condition by the movable member when the lifter is lowered from the rising limit and the engaging part is opposingly positioned between the lowermost tray and the second tray from the bottom, turning it in the direction of engagement, and letting the engaging part engage with the second tray from the bottom.
