PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water treatment apparatus which can reduce an installation space, and reduce equipment cost and maintenance cost without impairing the conventional washing effect. SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus comprises a membrane separation tank 2 having a membrane separator 5, a treated water tank 4 for storing treated water 3 treated with the membrane separator 5, and a treated water transfer pipe 11 one end 11a of which is connected to the membrane separator 5, and the other end 11b of which is disposed in the treated water tank 4, and which has a transfer means 12 capable of reversely transferring the treated water.
