PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing method suppressing meandering of a sewing line and reducing the change of the structure of fabric material in a thermoplastic fabric material flexible in the thickness direction. SOLUTION: The method of sewing the fabric material 100 consisting of the thermoplastic fiber comprises: a sewing hole forming process of melting the fibers of the fabric material 100 to form a sewing hole 110 extending through in the direction of the thickness of the fabric material 100; and a sewing process of inserting a sewing needle 19 into the sewing hole 110 and entangling a yarn to the fabric material 100.
