The invention relates to the medicine, namely to neurosurgery and ophthalmology. The aim of the invention consists in extending the possibilities of the monolithic corundum implants for plastic reconstruction of fronto-orbital bone defects. The method provides for the use of the monolithic corundum implant, which is congruent to the bone defect; the thickness of the implant equals the thickness of the spared symmetrical area of the skull. The plate is attached to the rigid squamous part of the frontal bone.
