<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered gear which can be produced by a simple production method using an inexpensive material and has high strength and is improved in sound reducing property. <P>SOLUTION: The sintered gear 1 consisting of a metal matrix and pores is constituted so that a dense part 11 with a thickness 21 of 300 to 1,000μm from the surface layer of the tooth surface 2, 3, 4 of the tooth to the inside and of which the porosity is at least≤10% is formed, and the dense part 11 with a thickness 22 of 10 to 300μm from the surface layer of the bottom land 5 to the inside and of which the porosity is at least≤10% is formed, and the boundary surface 12 of the dense part 11 with the porosity of≤10% is continued from the tooth surface side to the bottom land side so as not to have a substantial level difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
