PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker in which the strength of the main body of the movable contactor is improved while maintaining small size, capable of suppressing the temperature rise of the movable contactor by using a general copper material such as a tough pitch copper having high conductivity as the material of the main part. SOLUTION: The circuit breaker comprises a fixed contactor 4 on one end of which a fixed contact 5 is fixed, and a movable contactor 1 in which a movable contact 2 capable of contacting and separating from the fixed contact 5 of the fixed contactor 4 is fixed to one end of the rectangular-shaped main body 3. The movable contactor 1 is interlocked with the action of a cross bar 8, and the electric path is opened and closed when the movable contact 2 contacts and separates from the fixed contact 5 of the fixed contactor 4. A projected part 3a extending in longitudinal direction in the nearly center in width direction of the main body 3 of the movable contactor 1 is provided and thereby, the strength of the movable contactor 1 is improved.
