PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content copying apparatus capable of appropriately deciding whether or not the copied contents are necessary and deleting the unnecessary copied contents with a simple operation. SOLUTION: Attribute information on the contents which have been copied on a DVD 20a out of a plurality of contents recorded in an HD 18a is registered on tables T1 and T2, while a TV monitor 24 displays a deletion supporting picture based on the attribute information registered on the tables T1 and T2. An operator decides from the deletion supporting picture whether or not the respective copied contents are necessary and, when every copied content is unnecessary, operates to delete all the copied contents at a time. A CPU 28 issues to an HDD 18 a simultaneous deletion instruction to delete all the copied contents from the HD 18a accordingly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
