PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the degree of freedom in a relation between operating power to a control lever and the angle of operation of the control lever. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with: a housing 4; a lever turning shaft 5 supported turnably by the housing 4; the control lever 6 which is integrally provided to the lever turning shaft 5 and has an operating knob 20; a potentiometer 7 which is mounted on the housing 4 and outputs a detecting signal on the basis of turning of the lever turning shaft 5; and a reaction force generating means 8 for generating reaction force corresponding to the amount of turning of the control lever 6. The reaction force generating means 8 is provided with a cam member 36, a driven member 38, an adjusting nut 39, and a coil spring 40. The cam member 36 is provided to the housing 4. The driven member 38 is slidably fitted to the cam surface 37 of the cam member 36 and slidably fitted to the guide shaft part 18 of the control lever 6.
