PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a true air generator for generating true air where enriched oxygen, moisture, negative ions, and aromatic component are synthesized moderately. SOLUTION: The true air generator has a needle-like negative electrode 1, a positive electrode 2 that is arranged spaced from the negative electrode 1, has a porous section 4 for passing the negative ions, has electric resistance value of 10<SP>9</SP>to 10<SP>12</SP>Ω, and is made of a conductive material having aromatic property, a water retention section 7 made of a porous material, and an oxygen enrichment section 12 for enriching oxygen. An electric discharge closed circuit is formed due to a fine corona discharge between the negative electrode 1 and positive electrode 2 by applying high voltage between both electrodes, negative ions are generated between the negative electrode 1 and positive electrode 2, and air quality where the enriched oxygen, moisture, and the aromatic component are bound or mixed can be generated efficiently and accurately.
