PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function of cooling or heating and dehumidifying or humidifying the inside of a room and to improve comfortableness of a user, in an air conditioner capable of performing a cooling operation of cooling the inside by radiating cold applied to a medium TC circulated in a flow channel 2 by a heat source section 1 with a radiating section 20 and a heating operation of heating the inside by radiating warm heat applied to the medium TC by the heat source section 1 with the radiating section 20. SOLUTION: The medium TC can absorb or discharge moisture. The air conditioner comprises an indoor unit 30 that can perform a dehumidifying operation of making the medium TC absorb the moisture in the room in the cooling operation or a humidifying operation of discharging the moisture of the medium TC in the heating operation into the room, and an outdoor unit 40 that can perform a water discharging operation for discharging the moisture from the medium TC out of the room in the cooling operation and a water absorbing operation for making the medium TC absorb the moisture outside the room in the heating operation.
