GROUND FABRIC FOR MASKING USED FOR PIECE DYEING METHOD BY TRANSFER TO EMBROIDERY PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ground fabric for masking, which is used in the production of an embroidery cloth by a method for coloring or dyeing an embroidery part by transfer paper by piece dyeing and has excellent migration prevention from the part of perforated line in transferring and an embroidery cloth which has excellent clarity and feeling of color and contour of the embroidery part even in an embroidery of complicated color pattern when the ground fabric for masking is removed after coloration or dyeing by the transfer paper. SOLUTION: The ground fabric for masking comprises paper or a nonwoven fabric composed of a water-soluble fiber and is used for covering at least a part of a face to be subjected to embroidery sewing of a ground fabric for embroidery.
