PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire having a cap ply improving high-speed durability and uniformity. SOLUTION: The cap ply 1 of the pneumatic radial tire T aligns a primary twisted yarn 9a twisting rayon filament bundle and a primary twisted yarn 9b twisting nylon filament bundle in the same direction of the primary twisted yarn, and is formed by a complex cord 9 which is twisted in the opposite direction to the twisting direction of the primary yarns 9a, 9b.
