PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet where a toilet seat arrangement part is provided at a stage plate and a toilet seat is positioned at the toilet seat arrangement part, wherein a grip part is arranged at the stage plate. SOLUTION: The grip part comprises: a support shaft erected at the stage plate; and a handle fitted so as to be able to swing around the support shaft, so that the handle swings. Thus, a user can grasps the handle corresponding to his/her own position, so that it is easy to move up to and down from the stage plate.
