PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polysulfone-based permselective hollow fiber membrane with high safety and performance stability and excellent module assemblability, which is suitable for a blood purifier having high water permeability used for treating a chronic kidney failure. SOLUTION: In the polysulfone-based permselective hollow fiber membrane whose main components are polysulfone-based resin and hydrophilic polymer, (a) the content of the hydrophilic polymer in the very surface layer of a blood contact side surface in the polysulfone-based permselective hollow fiber membrane is 1.1 times or more of the content of the hydrophilic polymer in the near-surface layer of the blood contact side surface, (b) the content of the hydrophilic polymer in the outermost layer of a surface opposite to the blood contact side in the polysulfone-based permselective hollow fiber membrane is 1.1 times or more of the content of the hydrophilic polymer in the outermost layer of the blood contact side surface, and (c) a compact layer is provided on the blood contact surface of the polysulfone-based permselective hollow fiber membrane and the compact layer is in a particulate water swelling body structure.
