PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring the environment designed to save labor and time required for measurement with a small measuring error. SOLUTION: An image of a test peace 11 to which microorganisms 12 stick is picked up with an image pickup apparatus 24 and a hyphal image is extracted from the picked up image to compute the length of the individual hyphae from the extracted hyphal image.
