The roller (1) has an integrated spring hinge, and handle, which is disconnected by the spring hinge. The hinge allows change of a position of the paint roller about 90 degrees and has an end stop in initial position. A contact pressure is maintained at the working surface by the spring force provided using a tension spring (4) and the hinge disk.
