The unit has a flat housing (1) in which electronic components are arranged. A connecting unit is provided for connecting components to cables. A recess is provided at an end of the housing. One half of assembling parts are arranged at a housing part in area of the recess and connected with the housing part to form a single unit. The assembling parts cover the recess in assembling condition of the housing.
