<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem where a fuel cell for generating power by using, as fuels, a gas or liquid for a negative electrode and oxygen in the air for a positive electrode has low power generation efficiency and is difficult to miniaturize when a fuel cell for a small portable apparatus is put to practical. <P>SOLUTION: At least the positive electrode of this fuel cell contains a photocatalyst; active oxygen is generated by using light energy; and power is generated by using the oxygen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
