<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle theft to be performed by connecting an unauthorized apparatus to an on-board LAN. <P>SOLUTION: An authenticating ECU 15 for transmitting a command transmitted from a portable machine 20 to the on-board LAN 3 is connected to an on-board LAN 3d which is different from on-board LANs 3a and 3b to which specifying ECUs 11 and 13 for executing control indispensable to usage of a vehicle in accordance with the command are connected. The authenticating ECU 15 collates a first identification code added to the command from the portable machine 20. When it is confirmed that the person is the regular user, a second identification code stored in advance is made to be a specified code, and the command to which an encryption code obtained by encrypting the specified code is added is transmitted to the on-board LAN 3d. A gateway ECU 5 mediating the communication among the on-board LANs 3a to 3d collates the specified code, and transmits the command to the on-board LANs 3a and 3b to which the specifying ECUs 11 and 13 are connected only when it is confirmed that the command is made by a regular apparatus (user). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
