<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a sensor magnet to a motor shaft in a position where the magnet is inserted and positioned without requiring special preprocessing for the motor shaft itself. <P>SOLUTION: This rotation detector is equipped with a metallic component made of a metallic material by drawing, and the metallic component has a cylindrical part where a shaft insertion hole for the insertion of the motor shaft is formed inside and which is equipped with a flange at its one end. For the sensor magnet, a metallic component insertion hole wherein the cylindrical part of the metallic component is inserted is formed inside, and the flange functions as a stopper against the axial shift of the magnet when the metallic component is fixed to the shaft supported by the flange of the metallic component. The metallic component externally fit to and positioned on the motor shaft and further the sensor magnet positioned thereon are fixed integrally by caulking the end on opposite side to the flange side of this metallic component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
