<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component supplying apparatus capable of performing conveyance and transferring work efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The component supplying apparatus comprises an accommodation section 60 for accommodating a component tray 51 for accommodating electronic components; a part supplying mechanism for supplying the electronic components in the accommodation section to a component supply position for delivering to the mounting machine body 10; and a housing 55 for supporting the component supplying mechanism. The component supplying mechanism has a member of continuous length, such as an arm 80, that is arranged so that it projects to the outside of the housing 55.
