<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component supplying apparatus for reliably picking up electronic components and stably supplying them to a mounting machine body. <P>SOLUTION: The component supplying apparatus comprises an accommodation section 60 for accommodating pallets 52 for retaining a part tray 51 for accommodating the electronic components while the pallets 52 are arranged in parallel in the horizontal direction; a pallet leading mechanism 70 for leading the pallets 52 from the accommodation section to a pickup region; and a part transfer mechanism 80 for transferring the electronic components in a part tray at the pickup region to a part supply position for passing the electronic components to the mounting machine body 10.
