PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device for changing sound signals by an operation similar to the one of an analog record player in the reproducing device which reproduces the recording medium of a digital recording system. SOLUTION: This reproducing device comprises: a motor; a motor driving part for controlling and driving the motor so as to rotate it by a prescribed number of rotations; a turntable rotationally driven by the motor, whose rotation can be accelerated, decelerated, stopped or reversed by imparting pressing force or rotary force from the outside; a rotation speed detection part for detecting the rotation speed of the turntable and outputting rotation speed information; a signal reproducing part for reproducing the sound signals from the recording medium on which digital sound signals are recorded at a reproducing speed corresponding to the rotation speed information; and a sound signal changing part for changing the sound signals corresponding to the rotation speed.
