PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the contact bearing pressure of a cylindrical portion by fitting balls which engage with the inner peripheral face of a fitting hole and the outer peripheral face of a rod, through grooves which are provided in the fitting hole of the cylindrical portion on its circumference along the direction of the axial center. SOLUTION: The solenoid valve 40 comprises a magnetic housing 41 consisting of the cylindrical portion 42 and a flange portion 43. The fitting hole 44 is formed inward of the housing 41 while passing therethrough. In the cylindrical portion 42, three grooves 45a-45c in approximately circular cross section are formed at equal spaces on its circumference along the direction of the axial center. The circular curvature of each of the grooves 45a-45c is larger than the curvature of each of the spherical balls 47a-47c. Through the grooves 45a-45c, the magnetic metal balls 47a-47c are fitted for contacting the outer peripheral face of the rod 46. The rod 46 is slidably borne by the balls 47a-47c.
