PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve for maintaining check valve function for a long period while suppressing the swelling deterioration of a seal member. SOLUTION: The check valve X comprises a valve element 1 energized by a spring 25 and stored in a valve element storage space portion 23 of a housing 3 and a primary flow path 13 having an opening portion 13a opening to the valve element storage space portion 23, the opening portion 13a being closed via the seal member 27 exposed to the valve element storage space portion 23 by the valve element 1.
