PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof construction for a roof floor surface or the like capable of durably maintaining the waterproofing effectiveness and preventing the occurrence of a crack in an FRP material without transmitting crack external force applied to a substrate to the FRP material since there is a separated relation between the substrate and the FRP material even if external force causing a crack resulted from an external factor such as an impulse and a moisture is applied to the substrate such as a concrete and a mortar or the like by laying the FRP material on the surface of the substrate such as a roof floor surface or the like to be waterproofed in a state to separate to the surface of the substrate. SOLUTION: The waterproof construction is so constituted that the FRP material 2 laid on the surface of the substrate 1 such as a roof floor surface to be waterproofed or the like and that the FRP material is laid on the surface of the substrate in a state of separation.
