PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive adhesive material capable of suitably applying to wrap made of polyolefin in a food POS field and a nonwoven fabric (envelope, etc.), not requiring a release paper, not exhibiting adhesiveness before application, exhibiting adhesiveness controlled at someone's request when applied, having low adhesive strength immediately after application, capable of readily being re-applied even if the adhesive material is applied to the adherend by mistake, free from application mistake, increasing adhesive strength with time and not readily causing release from the adherend and enabling desired printing or recording. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive adhesive material has, on a substrate, a heat-sensitive adhesive layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a solid plasticizer being solid at normal temperature, melted or softened when heated and miscible with the thermoplastic resin and attached to the adherend by heating, and when the adhesive strength to peel off the heat-sensitive adhesive layer from the adherend is determined according to a measuring procedure specified in the adhesive tape/adhesive sheet test method in JIS Z0237, the heat-sensitive adhesive layer exhibits an adhesive strength of≤300 gf/40-mm to peel off from the adherend two minutes after the application, and an adhesive strength of≥500 gf/40-mm to peel off from the adherend 24 hours after the application.
