PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachable/detachable seat locking mechanism for an automobile capable of maintaining an unlocking state and demonstrating excellent operability. SOLUTION: In the attachable/detachable seat locking mechanism, a striker 20 of a body floor is held to fix a seat 1 by a fixed plate 2 provided on a lower side of a seat cushion 1a and a cam plate 3 with a holding part 3b which is turnably mounted on the fixed plate 2. A notched groove 4 is formed in an outer circumference of the cam plate 3, and a fixing plate 6 is provided to maintain the unlocked state by inserting a locking claw 5 in the notched groove 4 to fix the cam plate 3 when the cam plate 3 is opened by a predetermined angle.
