FRONT PART VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front part vehicle body structure for an automobile capable of avoiding breaking by load at collision of a vehicle when a notch is set behind a cowl panel and at a border part of a lower flange and preventing rain water from intruding into a cabin through the notch. SOLUTION: A rear flange 2g extending to a rear side of the vehicle is formed on a rear edge of an opening 2a of the cowl panel 2 and a lower flange 2h extending to the outside in a vehicle width direction is formed on a bottom part of the opening 2a. A projection-like bead part 20f covering the notch part A is swelled and formed on a part facing to the notch part A formed on the border part of the rear flange 2g of the cowl panel 2 and the lower flange 2h of the cowl side panel 20 at the inner side in the vehicle width direction.
