PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid separating apparatus with high separation accuracy that is capable of rapidly separating a mixture liquid without agitating the mixture liquid during the process of separation by supplying the mixture liquid into the opening part of a tubular part member. SOLUTION: The mixture liquid having a lubricating oil dropped from a die casting machine and a releasing agent mixed with each other is supplied into a first separation tank 4 through a recovery tank 2 and a storing tank 3. The first separation tank is divided into a first to a fourth spaces 4A-4D by a first to a third diaphragm 11-13. The tubular part member 22 having the opening parts up and down is established in the first space among these on which the mixed liquid falls. The mixture liquid is established so that it falls within a range of the upper opening part in the tubular part member. Thus, the mixture liquid is separated into the lubricating oil and the primary separated liquid until reaching a fourth separation tank and the primary separated liquid is supplied into the second separation tank 5 through a first and second separation liquid recovery passages 19, 20.
