A system for analysing risk associated with an investment portfolio of an investor, said system including means for use in generating a user interface (1050) for display on a user terminal, said user interface (1050) showing a distribution of assets (1070) of each investment (1068) of the investment portfolio over one or more asset classes (1072) and showing the distribution of assets (1080) over said one or more asset classes (1072) of a benchmark risk category (1082) representing a risk tolerance level of the investor.
