<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrist-worn instrument miniaturizing the instrument and capable of measuring bioinformation in a natural worn state. <P>SOLUTION: A wristwatch 100 is provided with a piezoelectric element 10 in an opening part 7b of a housing case 7, and a rear lid 13 movable in the front/rear direction of the housing case 7 by interposing a coil spring 15 to form a medium chamber 16 tightly closing a vibration transmitting medium in a space between it and the housing case 7. When the wristwatch 100 is worn around the wrist by a band 2 with the rear lid 13 facing the side of the wrist R, the rear lid 13 moves to elastically deform the coil spring 15 by the pulsation of the artery adjacent to the wrist and fluctuate the pressure inside the medium chamber 16. The piezoelectric element 10, based on the detection of the pressure fluctuation inside the medium chamber, measures the pulse and the blood pressure, or the bioinformation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
