PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer meter capable of efficiently illuminating an indication design part with variety of shapes not only a fan shape with a small number of point light sources by devising the constitution of a light guide body. SOLUTION: A reflection part is constituted of a plurality of reflection surfaces 311, 312, 313. By properly setting the shape and posture of each reflection surface 311, 312, 313, that is, the position relation among each reflection surface 311, 312, 313, a luminous diode 4 and a dial 2 in the constitution, the shapes of each irradiation range S1, S2, S3 of each reflection surface 311, 312, 313 can be individually controlled, and so the light irradiation ranges by lights from the luminous diodes 4 can be easily corresponded to the shapes of the illuminated region of the dial 2. Thus, a speed meter 1 capable of efficiently illuminating a scale 21, figures 22 and letters 23 with a small number of luminous diodes 4 can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
