PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing range cover that can be turned upward smoothly by a small force even when the cover member is relatively heavy and large, does not cause rapid falling of the cover member even if the hand is separated from the cover member in the midway of the turning, has a simple structure, and can contribute to the reduction of the number of components. SOLUTION: The range cover 1 comprises a base stay 13 to be fixed to a range 5 or a range stand 3, the cover member 17 turnable by a predetermined angle via a turning shaft 15, and an energizing means 31 for energizing the cover member 17 in the erecting direction with respect to the turning shaft 15. The energizing force of the energizing means 31 is set so that a force required for turning the cover member 17 upward is reduced or the energizing force is balanced with the load of the cover member 17 to stop the tuning of the cover member 17 when the cover member 17 is separated in the midway of the turning.
