PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box of a cardboard plate capable of being easily assembled by eliminating a glue applying operation for a bottom plate forming flap required in a prior art for assembling the bottom plate. SOLUTION: This packaging box comprises two sets of opposed side plates 2, 2, and 3, 3 of the packaging box of the cardboard plate, and bottom plate forming flaps 4, 5, 6 and 7 cooperatively arranged at lower ends of the opposed side plates 2, 2 and 3, 3, two parallel slits 4a, 4a and 5a, 5a are formed at central portions of tip of the bottom plate forming flaps 4, 5 cooperatively arranged at lower ends of the opposed side plates 2, 2 at the short side in the two sets of opposed side plates 2, 2 and 3, 3, thereby narrowed insertion pieces 6a, 7a are formed at tips of the bottom plate forming flaps 6, 7 cooperatively arranged at lower ends of the opposed side plates 3, 3 at the long side, the insertion pieces 6a, 7a are engaged with engaging pieces 4b, 5b to cause both bottom plate forming flaps 4, 5, 6 and 7 to be engaged and then the bottom plate is formed.
