PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a linear motion member at an ultra-high speed acceleration and an ultra-high speed deceleration, in a molding machine such as an injection molding machine and a die-cast machine. SOLUTION: In the molding machine using a linear motor as the driving source of linear motion members such as a screw and an injection plunger, the linear motor comprises a stator wound with winding and a moving element moving linearly relative to the stator, the stator has a plurality of opposing parts where magnetic pole teeth oppose each other, the plurality of opposing parts have alternative structure of the magnetic pole teeth of adjacent opposing parts, and a linear moving element with a permanent magnet is arranged between the magnetic pole teeth constituting the opposing parts.
